Theri Movie Review | Vijay, Samantha, Amy Jackson | Atlee

The wait is over for Vijay Fans as the movie “Theri” is released worldwide on the 14th of April. The expected Vijay mass entertainer is out with full shows on the first day around Tamil Nadu, the neighbouring states like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala. Atlee, the director of his movie is jumped to the action flick after the success of family entertainer “Raja Rani”. The movie has all the flavors that Vijay’s fans require. A new year treat from the actor to his fans all over the world. Story line may be filled within a line of Revenge, but the way it is narrated will make you sit back in the theater and watch it with full fledged entertainer.

The story flip-flops around the past and present time of Joseph Kuruvilla acted by Vijay. Kuruvilla, a Baker maintains his business in Kerala with the assistance of Rajendran. He has a little girl who is five years of age. They lead their existence with bliss till Joseph meets his girl's teacher Anni played by Amy Jackson. Anni discovers that he is a Police Officer and not a Baker. He is Vijay Kumar IPS and not a Baker. The good point about the movie is, it has some true incidents added to the story. It also shows what should have been done to those unresolved cases happened in India. To know more about the explanation behind this turn you have to watch the movie at theaters close to you.

The music is done by G. V. Prakash which is his 50th endeavor as music director. There are five songs in the movie with some good composition. But, no songs attracted the audience as compared to Vijay’s previous movies. Editing by Anthony L. Ruben has given the movie an added point with the flash back and present life perfectly attached.  George C. Williams is the Cinematography of this movie that finds good taste in places selected and colors plated.  The Cast of movie is lined up with good star cast like Samanth as Wife, Amy Jackson as teacher, Prabhu as Police officer, Baby Nainika as daughter, Radhika as Vijay’s mother, Rajendran as Police Constable and helper in Bakery. The other attraction of this movie is Mahendran one of the best directors of Tamil Film industry. He is characterized as the villain of the movie who comes back to take revenge against Vijay.

To conclude, this movie is one time watcher that makes you laugh and cry simultaneously. You can watch this movie without facing any boring time in the theater. This is a perfect movie for the new year and holiday fever.
