KALI is a tale of an angry young man
is having a problem of temper that captures him many problems. The story starts
with Josettan (Vinayakan) just vandalizes a hotel run by his friend. He
captures the hotel forcefully due to not getting money from the owner of the
hotel. Then the story is moved to a young boy Siddarth (Nebish Benson) who is tempered and beats a boy of his age. The next scene
is Anjali (Sai Pallavi) wife of young man Siddarth (Dulquer Salmaan) leaving
the house after a fight with him. But, Siddarth decides to drop her as it is
too late for a woman to go out alone. On this journey the story shows the
flashback of both Siddarth and Anjali’s love story and the marriage. They are
thrown out of their respected family due to love marriage. Both Sai Pallavi and
Dulquer Salmaan has been impressed with the acting. Then Chemban Vinod and
Vinayakan enters the second half playing negative roles in the movie doing well
with their characters Chakkara and Josettan.
On the way to Sai Pallavi’s home
they enter the hotel to have food. They do not like the cleanliness of the hotel,
but with no option they have the food and do not have juice after they ordered.
They find that there is no money in the purse, left only with credit and debit
cards. Siddarth sends Sai Pallavi to the ATM for the money as it was not safe
for her to stay at that place. Then what really happened there with Siddarth.
Did she get the money and pay their bill and reach home safely or were there
any problem in between? To know this please step to the theatre and watch this
116 minutes movie. Sameer Thahir after
Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi as a director has done a good job with the
first half. The second half is been dragged little with no use of car drive
show that long. Music is too good with Gopi Sundar getting the old magic with
two songs.
