New Zealand beat England in a run Fiest




This was a great match for the spectators with more than 700 runs scored between the two sides. Batting first, the black caps scored a mammoth 398 runs to give the opponents a huge target. England team started well with a good first wicket partnership. The middle order played their best to keep the match and run rate on their side. But the wicket of the English captain put the team in the back foot. But the lower order batsmen played a super innings to keep the match alive. But, rain played a big role which would may not be the result of the match. With 54 runs needed of just 37 balls the hosts were in good stage to reach the score. But, D/L system changed the target to 34 runs off 13 balls to keep the England team out of the match. They reach 365/9 after 46 over to lose the second ODI match. Now the series are leveled at 1-1.
