National Education Policy 2020 - A New Form of Education System in India


Indian Education System from years was under the radar and blamed on its inconsistent result of skilled graduates and unemployment growing. The subject of Indian Education System was also a topic for the cinema’s that surfaces the toppers being just workers and last bench freaks gaining success. One of the example was 3 Idiots that brushed the controversy of the Education in India. The inspirational talk of “Do want you are good at and otherwise”.

These statements mention above would become a history if the new NEP would be successful. The points mentioned in the Policy is one of the best in our education system till date. However, the only issue would be the cost of the Education. As per the policy, many international universities will be a competitor for many Universities in Indian. These big institutions would be establishing their base in India and it would prove that not only IIT ahand IIM are only the place of talent to be looked.

Let us look into some main points of this new National Education Policy:

1)     The usual 10 + 2 change system of education to 5 + 3 + 4. First 5 years of Education is considered as the basic stage of Education. Then another 3 years would be in the middle stage of Education and finally last 4 years would be second stage in School level.

2)     The introduction of Coding from 6th standard and other holistic skills would be a big change bring in the talent of the students than books.

3)     From the entry of College from School, it is to have a single entry exam.

4)     Top Foreign Universities having entry to India by setting up of Campuses in the Country. This makes the competition higher than before. The quality of education would also improve from this step of bringing in foreign universities to the country.
