The new set of lock down guidelines is released by Tamil Nadu Government that would commence from 1st August 2020 to 31st August 2020. The chief minister of Tamil Nadu Edappadi K Palaniswamy did the release. The decision of the extension was completely taken after a thorough meeting with district collectors and other health professionals of the state.
Let us see the allowed and non-allowed services in this new
lockdown starting from 1 August. They are given below:
i)
E-pass System will be continue for travel till
31 August 2020.
ii)
Night Curfew remains in board from 9 in the
evening to 6 in the morning.
iii)
Metro and Electric Services will not be
available.
iv)
Bus, train and international flights will not be
available.
v)
Gyms, Theaters, Swimming pools and parks to be
closed across the state.
The corona numbers are high in the state with more than 5500
positive cases reported on a daily basis. Today the positive cases count read 5864.
Especially Chennai recorded 1192 positive cases and the recovery numbers for
today was 1126. This is one of the positive signs for the people of Chennai as
positive numbers are reducing and recovery rate increasing. However, the
questionable issue now is the increasing of corona cases in different districts
other than the capital. Districts like Coimbatore, Theni, and Kanyakumari and
nearby areas reported to have increase in numbers.
