PV Sindhu and Sakshi on a High

It was a cheerful minute for the Indian games with the two medals won by our lady Athletes in the Rio. Girl power was shown at Rio by our players PV Sindhu and Sakshi winning Silver and Bronze. Both the players were gotten with huge recompenses to their name. From an unknown sports personality to a famous person through the Rio games. PV Sindhu has gotten numerous prizes from money to flats and BMW to government occupations. Same runs with Sakshi who won Bronze for India. She got an aggregate of 2.5 crores from the Haryana government and Sports service.

People of India are proud of these girls who have made the country proud in the Rio Games. But, the other painful thing about the Rio Olympics is the overall medal tally was just two and many failed to reach even the quarter finals in their respective games. Some worked hard to reach at least semi’s and finals but without any medals. It is shocking to know why we are not able to win a Gold medal with the Indian population standing in the second position. The big question asked is why this happening with Sports in the country is? Many are blaming the political hit on the sports arena. So, to think of what would be the next steps for the sports to grown in India? Countries national game hockey also could not win a medal in the Olympics. This is really sad news for the sports lovers who are expecting something from our players. 

Coming to the medal winners, both the games identities need to proceed with their games and not fall for the cash or grants they have gotten. The histories of Indian competitors are awful as they don't proceed with their great work in games after they are perceived with name and rewards. Numerous people stop sports after they are offered an occupation in government part or even a money prize. It is the duty of the Sports affiliation and the mentors to demonstrate to them the right way helping games to develop in the nation other than cricket.
