India Bangladesh Border Agreement signed

Two Countries India and Bangladesh signed an agreement on Saturday to end the conceiving problem with more than 2000 mile border dispute. As per the deal signed by the Prime Ministers of the country to exchange around 200 enclaves which are close to the border of two countries. The first point in the friendly entity was to end the territory fight and have a smooth understanding in the issue.

Set up by a settlement between two states, the 106 Indian enclaves in Bangladesh and 92 Bangladeshi enclaves in India are islands of outside region inside every nation. Each country will have the decision to take the charge of these territories. This also will have an option of crossing the boarder. This agreement was done way back in 1974 by our only Female Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and her then counterpart Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. This worked well till the death of the Bangladesh Prime Minister.

This time it is Mamta Bannerjee who accompanied with our Prime Minister in the tour. Inauguration of bus service between Indian and Bangladesh took place in this visit. Both Narendra Modi and Mamta Banerjee were in this event. This was a historical movement for both the countries after a gap of 41 years. It is also signed to develop around six to seven units of Power plants and invest more than $4 billion for the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). The investment will be done by Reliance and Adani Company. One more issue discussed was on the fights and human trafficking on the country boards.
