Winning the toss Virat Kohli chose to bat first in a wicket
that has something for the bowlers. Both Kohli and Gayle struggled a bit and
also lost their wicket quickly to put the team under pressure. AB Devilliers
and Mandeep Singh joined together to steady the innings for the RCB. Both the
batsmen put on 113 runs partnership for the third wicket to come out from a bad
start. ABD scored 66 runs off just 38 balls with 4 six and 4 fours. The other
person to score was Mandeep who supported Devilliers by contributing a 54 from 34
balls to take the total to 180 runs. Kulkarni took two main wickets of the
openers giving away 28 runs from his spell of 4 overs.
Chasing a target of 181 runs to win the match, the Rajasthan
Royals just lost their way in the beginning with wickets falling quickly. Rahane
was the one who stood till 14 overs and making 42 runs. Others could not stay
long in the crease as wickets were falling continuously. Rajasthan Royals were
