Dhoni on Retirement

Indian team might have lost the Second semi finals against the Australian team but the boys came back strongly after a poor form in the test series and tri nation tournament. This was a great experience for the Bowlers who surprised other team by their bouncers. India lost their match due to good bowling and fielding by the Kangaroos. First it was Smith and Finch who showed their batting strength by scoring century and half century respectively. Indian bowlers controlled the innings in the second part of the innings by giving only 90 runs off last 10 over. Indian batsmen gave the team a good start with a partnership of 76 runs. But they could not capitalize on the start and gave their wickets by hitting some bad shorts. India lost the match by 95 runs margin which was their first defeat of the tournament.

After the match, Dhoni speaking to the press asked them to research on his future plans and the retirement from ODI. He is presently very curious to go back to India and see his baby. It may be a sad movement for the team members who were just one match short of playing the finals and winning it. The captain also praised the players who played well and gave their 100% on the field. News is that security is tightened at Dhoni’s house after the loss to the Australian team in the semi finals. Even Kohli’s house is under high security services. The next focus is on the Indian Premier League which is to start in April. This will be the only good thing for the Indian fans who are upset on Indian’s semi finals exit. There won’t be any hearted feelings in the IPL as it is still an Indian team who will win the Cup.
