Why God’s Own Country removed the Saviours of God ?

Big question during this pandemic was that of releasing election dates. Election Commission did not rule out the elections that had resulted in this hike in COVID numbers. Madras high court also stated that “The Election Commission must be hanged for not stopping elections or the rallies”.  Worst was when Kumbh Mela was organised without any COVID protocols in the state of Uttarakand. Lakhs of BAKTHS were seen at one place to attend the KUMBH program. This was also another reason for the country to be seen in a worst situation than any other country in the world. The next big reason is said to be the infrastructure of the medial institutions in the country. No big facilities were added to the medical institutions resulting in oxygenless and bedless deaths. The government was busy inaugurating temples and stadiums rather than oxygen centres or medical institutions.

The state that is called “God’s Own Country” for the natural beauty has just ended with an election result in this COVID situations. Results were not surprising for the people of the state as it was already a fixed match with LDF winning over the UDF as the credit of fight on NIPPA virus and the first face of CORONA was handled well by the Medical department and the government. The state was also appreciated for its work towards the medical institutions in the last 12 months. This has not reduced the COVID numbers, but, the death cases are less compared to other big states. This strong fight against the pandemic situations were accepted well and this resulted in a big victory for the ruling party.

A Comical line in this pandemic is that “God’s Own Country removed the Saviours of God” meaning the saviours of God (Hindu’s are in danger) party lost the elections without winning a single seat. The CM of Kerala earlier stated that it would be a BJPMUKTH (BJP less) election result. There are many questions to be asked for this result, as the saviour of Hindu God is not given a seat in its parliament. This would prove that “God will save us and we are not the saviour of God” and also it can be said that, being a country with more than 70% Hindus, no Hindu is in danger. The only danger in this era of pandemic is the workforce of Humanity. Many people on roads have lost their life due to corona and also without any oxygen in hospitals. Humanity still prevails in the form of doctors, nurses and the workers who are helpful to others. So, at-least now onwards, it must be more importance to constructs Hospitals and improve medical facilities than investing on religious places, statues and stadiums.

I would urge the PM of our country to start focusing on good infrastructure on health and medical field. It would be better to invest on our Government Hospitals and Education institutions to have a healthy life and a good education. If still the priority of government is to rename a place and construct a temple or a stadium, then the hashtag trending in twitter #resignmodi must be a reality to save this beautiful country.

The Elections were held in four states and one Union Territory. Four States are Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Assam and one Union territory is Pondicherry.
