Arnab Goswami Shifted to Taloja Centra Jail, Navi Mumbai

 

Arnab Goswami, editor-in-chief of Republic TV was arrested in abetment to suicide case from his apartment. The court could not permit him bail and was sent to the jail. But, it was found that he used mobile phone in a school (acting as a quarantine center in Alibaug) he was captured for days. Today Morning he was shifted to the Taloja Centra Jail in Navi Mumbai from the quarantine center. 

The request for bail will again be started on Monday, as the Bombay High Court would be listening to the case again and give a responsive decision as per law. In between this, wife of Arnab Gosami, said in a statement that the jailer assaulted her husband after he asked for access to his lawyers and faced a threat to his life.

 

The abetment to suicide is a case that would result in a 10 year jail term as per law. The case against Arnab is the abetment to suicide of Anvay Naik, an interior designer and his mother Kumud Naik. According to the police, the two died by suicide over the non-payment of dues by the Republic TV Editor-In-Chief and other two people. The other two who were involved in this case is also arrested and are in custody.

 

The social media reacts with a mixed review of this as the trending going in favor of Mr. Goswami. This is also told that, trending and support of Mr. Goswami is completely done by the bots created by the Digital Marketing team of Goswami. The issue of bots was also seen in the Susanth Singh Rajputs case. The Mumbai Police also were in the investigation during the Susanth case and found these bots that counted more than 80k.

 

With the issue being targeted as a fight by the Maharashtra government against the so called "journalist", the reel queen of Jhansi, Kangana Ranaut also came to the rescue by released a video against the Maharastra government and the Mumbai Police for arresting Arnab Goswami. This video just went viral with negative feedback. Twitter just went against the three times national award actress and questioned about her status on the cases that were re-scheduled because of her brothers wedding fest.

 

The bail request of Arnab is scheduled tomorrow.
