An ugly looking person, average in acting and not a hero face was the introduction of this versatile actor when his father KASTHURI RAJA in “Thulluvadho Illamai” introduced him to the film industry. The controversy with the story line attracted the young to watch the movie and old neglecting it. His next movie Kadhal Kondein become a massive hit and also a critically acclaimed note. He also entered to Hindi cinema with Ranjaana and also acted with the legend Amitabh Bachachan in Shamitabh. Now, he is one of the highly paid actor of South India and also the top producer of the industry.

Let us seen the top five movies of Danush that made him one of the best in the business. The movies list are below:

1)     Kadhal Kondein: Danush was casted opposite newcomer Sonia Agarwal by the director Selvaraghavan whom also was his brother. This movie was critically acclaimed and especially Danush was appreciated for his characterisation of Vinod. However, he was commented badly for his looks in the film fraternity and too with the audience.

2)     Pudhpettai: A Tamil language Gangster movie become a talk of the town with the realistic fashioned screenplay and dialogues knocking the door for critics to appreciate. This just displayed the acting skills of Danush and gradually entering the stars list.

3)     Aadukalam: This movie was one of the best in the growth of Danush’s career. Vetrimaran directed the movie that ended in bagging six national awards including best Actor award for Danush. This spiked the growth of Danshu to be as one of the versatile actors of the industry.

4)     Shamitabh: This was Danush’s second movie in Hind. He was paired with the legend of Indian cinema Amitabh Bachachan. Even though the movie was a failure in the box office, Danush considered the movie one of the best as he shared the screen with the legend.

5)    Vada Chennai: The Vetrimaaran and Danush combo again came with a strong movie Vadachennai. This was an action thriller that brought the audience to the theatre and making it a hit. The movie is considered as the highest grosser in a complete A-rated Tamil film of all time. This movie also had hard realities of real life that has been framed well in this classic.
