Top 5 Movies of Dulquer Salman

An interest of Superstar son to enter the film industry would be an easy task rather than a struggling actor without any big film background. However, the actor who enters the industry be pushed to a turmoil with the doors knocked by critics to hit the confidence of the actor. This would not have been the case with the son of Malayalam film industries megastar MAMMOTTY. He introduced in a small budget well scripted story line second show, won him debutant award and a best critic response. He is now being one of the loved actors of the industries across Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.

Let us see his top five performances that made him the star that he is today. The movies are list below:

1.      USTAD HOTEL: The second movie under Dulquer’s belt came in with the story of a Chef (Faizal), who is been forced to join his grandfather due to his Fathers anger and capture of passport. To know the reason you may watch the movie available in different OTT platforms. This movie just took the scenes to the next level as the powerhouse of acting, Thilakan being the grandfather joined the party. This movie was a success in the box office and grabbed three National Awards.

 

2.      ABCD (American Born Confused Desi: Playing as one of the two spoiled youngsters of millionaire family comes to India for a vacation. However, the twist comes with when the millionaire father traps them to lead a poor life as others in the country. This twist brings humour to the story gaining more interest to watch it with laughter. This laughter challenge won many hearts to become a blockbuster. Dulquer as Jones Isaac just reviewed success in his acting skills. This movie was remade in Telugu with the same name. Allu Siris was the protagonist.

3.      Vaayai Moodi Pesavum: A multilingual movie directed by Balaji Mohan surfaced the acting skills of Dulquer. He played the character of Aravind, a sales man also interested in RJ profession. His wave of acting from a chatterbox in the first half and a speechless protagonist in the second gave a scope to act and came strong with good acting. This could not become a massive hit, but critically appreciated.

4.      Bangalore Days: This movie was one of the big hits of the year 2014. This grabbed many awards in the state level and grabbed fans internationally. The truth of a Malayali’s interest to visit and settle in Bangalore was show perfectly from the start. Dulquer as Arun aka Aju just added the spice to the movie with Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim and Fahad Fazil among others. This movie is been considered as one of the best movies of all time in Malayalam.

5.      Charlie: One more movie that is been listed as the example of good filmmaking of Malayalam film industry was Charlie. The movie lovers around the country and even internationally appreciated this movie and especially the character of Charlie played by Dulquer Salman. He just nailed it with the peace loved, helping character and a lovable human being.

Some of the other movies that did was close to this list are Kammatipaadam, Parava, Solo, Mahanati and Karwaan. Dulquer has said that Karwaan was something special in his life, as he shared his screen with one of the great actors of Indian cinema, Irfan Khan.
