The Corona Pandemic has enforced the Karnataka government to
have a one-week long lockdown in Bangalore and Bangalore Rural. Today is the
sixth day of the Bangalore lockdown with numbers increasing daily? As told before this
lockdown is not for the reduction of the numbers in Corona cases, but for the
reduction in spread that has happened already. One of our ministers said that
the situation is out of control and “god needs to save us”.
Our Government is not ready to extend the lockdown as the
financial state dipped drastically and with the extension, this might go down
again. Therefore, to reduce the financial burden the B B M P and the Ministry
has come with a conclusion of not extending the lockdown. It is a good move by
the government not extend the lockdown, but it would be better to improve the
condition of hospitals and increase the beds to face the increase in the coming
days after the lockdown.
Today, the numbers in the state has crossed 4000 again with
reports reading 4120 positive cases. Bangalore only has registered CORONA cases
of 2156 and 36 deceased out of 91 in the state. The good news is 1290 patients
recovered in which 253 are from the Capital City. Still there are 39366 are
active out of the 63772 positive cases. Bangalore Corona has the highest active cases
with 24313. Karnataka is the fourth infected state in India.
