Ashwin Heroic helps India take series lead


West Indies team has a bad start in the test series with wickets falling in the fourth day of the first match held at Antigua. Rain god did not help them to have a different result. After India making a total of 566 in the first innings, the team did not have any problem to win the test with the bowlers doing the job easily. The hosts were all out for 243 runs in the first innings and were send to bat again with more than 300 runs short. The seconds was also a disappointment for the team with wickets falling in each interval. The hero was Ashwin who picked seven wickets for his side. The West Indies team were all out for 231 runs in the second innings giving the visitors a 1-0 lead in the test series.

India: 566/8
West Indies: 243/10 & 231/10

India won the test match by 92 runs.
