Time to Change the System Called CASTE

Let me start with a story of two friends who were waiting for their 12th standard results. The marks will decide their future, as to join Engineering or any other degree. The result was announced and after the result these two friends spoke with each other.

Ram: Hi, Shyam, How are you?

Shyam: Hi, I am Fine and what about you?

Ram: I am Fine too. Then what about the result?

Shyam: Sadly says, its just 51% and your’s?

Ram: Happily, its 85%..

Shyam: Congrats on your result. Bye da…

Ram: Bye, see you soon…

On the Engineering Counseling day both met again. This time the mood of both were reversed.

Ram running towards Shyam unhappy about his counseling for engineering asked him in a movie style:

Mere paas Physics mae 90%, Chemistry mae 89% and Mathematics mae 95% hae fir bhi nahi mila engineering seat, there paas kya hae ki tujae Seat mila.( I have 90% in Physics, 89% in Chemistry and 95% in Mathematics still did not get a seat, What did you have to get a seat)

Shyam replies happily- HAHAHA Mere paas SC/ST certificate hae. (HAHAHA I have SC/ST CASTE certificate)

It may be a simple witty conversation for many of us, but the issue is big as far as the carrier of a student is concerned. The division between the higher and lower caste was made by people who ruled us. This step was taking to entertain some group of people living their life happily and the rest working for the happy living group. They were not given permission to enter temples and even to get education. The system changed with the entry of B. R. Ambedkar who fought for the untouchable and the least wanted community. This got changed and every one was given place for education and entry to temples. There is a drastic change in the life style of those who were once not touched and allowed to live freely.  Now every one are equal and does not have any difference in wealth, CASTE system need to be removed from our constitution.

* this is just a post on behalf of emotion faced by students and employees due to this issue.
