Indian team is having a good time in this World Cup as they are in their great form in the matches they have played. Today it was their fifth match playing against the Ireland team. The team has already beaten teams like Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies had to lose the toss and sent to field first. It was good start for the Ireland team as the openers played a super innings with a partnership of 89 runs for the first wicket. They continued to bat well with some good shorts to the boundary. But everything changed as wickets started to fall as the spinners started to pick wickets. They just collapsed from 205/3 to 259 all out after 49 over. Captain Porterfield scored 67 runs in the opening slot and N O’Brien making 75 runs helped the team to reach a competitive score. But finally that did not happen as wickets stumbled for the Ireland team. Mohammad Sami taking three wickets and Ashwin with two was the pick of bowlers for India.

Chasing a target of 260 to win and lead the table, India started steady by rotating the strike and hitting odd boundaries early in the innings without any risk taken. Then Dhawan started to hit some big sixers that made Indian team to chase the score easily. The first to be dismissed was Rohit Sharma after making 64 runs off 66 balls. The second wicket to fall was Dhawan after making 100 runs off 85 balls with 11 fours and 5 sixers. V Kohli and A Rahane continued the good form scoring runs quickly. They finished the game in the 37th over of the match and giving India their 5th straight victory in the tournament. Kolhi was not out after scoring 44 runs and Rahane with 33 were the other two who scored for the team.
