Four Members of the Bachchan Family test Positive

Amitabh Bachchan was admitted last evening to Nanavathi Hospital after the legendary actor was suffering from Breathing Problem. From the tests he was confirmed with Corona. After this, even his son Abhishek Bachchan was also tested positive. Abhishek Bachchan twitted the news in his tweeter account.

Today the actor’s family members were tested with two more of the family members report positive. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan also have tested positive. This information was tweeted by the health minister Maharashtra Rajesh Tope. In his tweet he wrote ““Smt.Aishwarya Rai Bacchan & Daughter Aaradhya Abhishek Bacchan have also been detected positive for Covid19. Smt. Jaya Bachhan ji is tested negative for covid19. We wish the Bacchan Family to get well soon with a speedy recovery.”

Aishwarya and Aaradhya’s swab samples were taken on Saturday night for RT-PCR test. The report came as positive for both mother and daughter.

 

Additional commissioner, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation(BMC) said that “Total 16 people from the family have been tested including guards and maids. Other reports will come tomorrow,” Both Aishwarya and her daughter can have an option of having treatment from home, as they are asymptomatic.

As per the report from the Assistant Municipal Commissioner, K west ward, Mr. Vishwas More has said that all four Bungalows of Bachchan family has been sealed. The Bungalows namely Jasla, Janak, Partiksha and Vasta are in the containment zone category.

Yesterday night Senior Bachchan tweeted, “I have tested COVID positive. Shifted to Hospital. Hospital informing authorities, family and staff undergone tests, results awaited,” He also asked his fellow friends and close aide to be tested, through his tweet. The tweet read, “All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested.”
