PETTA Movie Review





After Robotic Chitti's 2.0 the Superstar is back with a mass entertainer PETTA. The dream come true project for the director of the movie Karthik Subbaraj, who directed critically acclaimed movies  like PIZZA, IRAIVI and JIGARTHANDA is back with this movie. He is a fan of Rajinikanth and has given the perfect shorts as the fans requirement. This movie has shown the style king in two avatars giving the movie a plus. It is all rajini-ism in this Pongal release giving a treated to the audience from the young to the old. After a gap of 24 years, a rajinikanth movie is releasing for Pongal. 

The other force is the music of the movie with Anirudh giving the perfect background score as expected. PETTA has a long lineup of casting with Simran, Vijay Sethupathy, Nawazuddin Siddique, Trisha and many more. Each and every actor has given their best making the movie watchable without any boring sequence. The first half of the movie entertains the audience making you stay at your seat without a scene missed. The second half also has the same treat, but some scenes may make you to take a coffee break. It has good fighting scenes, love, comedy, punch dialogues and an inspirational talk found in the old Rajinikant movies. This is a perfect gift for the thalaivar fans from the director, who has given a visual rajini-ism treat.
