Bumrah helps India Level Series


 The second T20 match between India and England was played at Nagpur today with the visitors leading the series 1-0. It was the last over of the match with just eight runs from 20th over. Bumrah came to use his brilliant deliveries to stop the English from winning the match. He just delivered it by giving away only two runs picking two wickets. India won the match and leveled the series 1-1 with one more match to be played on the 1st of February. Winning the toss England sent India to bat first with Virat Kohli and KL Rahul opening the innings. There were no big partnerships at the start as three wickets fell in quick succession. KL Rahul was the highest scorer for the Indians as he scored 71 runs from 47 balls hitting 2 sixers and six fours. Pandey was the other scorer who scored 30 runs in 26 balls. After 20 over India scored 144 runs losing eight wickets. Jordan was the pick of bowlers with three wickets for the team.

In reply Indian bowlers picked wickets in each interval of time. At one stage the visitors were 65 runs losing three wickets. Stokes was lucky as Mishra’s no ball saved him from getting out early in the innings. Partnership from Root and Strokes kept the England team on the hunt of winning the match. In the final over the England team required just eight runs with Root and Butler on crease. Bumrah was given the ball with Nehra finishing his quota of over in the 49th over. Root was dismissed in the first ball of the over and the Buttler gave his wicket away on the fourth ball. Finally, India won the second T20 by 5 wickets.
