Women Power Continues in 2 States

India is facing problem of Women empowerment and the power to encourage them becoming Entrepreneur’s of a company. They say that when women are safe then the country is on the verge of development. Thinking of becoming a minister was too far for women years ago and now they have started to contest in Elections with numbers growing on each election. India is a country that worships goddesses for their good will and life, but, same country has a culture of restricting women to cook and look after the household for free. It may take time for a country like India to give Women a bigger place in the society than just house wife’s or a servant without pay.

This change of women power has been shown by two chief ministers of India. These women are the inspiration for many young women of our country. Don’t be just a thinker but a doer too by taking strong decisions even a man cannot afford to take. Tamil Nadu chief Minister J Jayalalitha has shown the power of women in both negative and positive way. She and her party may be corrupt, but, this confidence and power has helped her to rule the state for three times. She was elected as the Chief Minister on the 24th of June 1991 for the first time. It was again AMMA rule between 14 May 2001 and 12th May 2006.  She was elected will an easy victory on the 16th of May 2011 and continuing to be the CM of Tamil Nadu till date. The present election that was held on the 16th May 2016 also is in favor of A.I.A.D.M.K. At this age of 68 she will be the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for the fourth time with the voting numbers on the parties favor. She is the only Chief Minister to be nominated twice consecutively after M.G.R. She is also the only second Woman chief Minister of the State after Janaki Ramachandran (M.G.R's wife) whose government rule lasted only for 24 days.

We need to focus on West Bengal Chief Minister candidate from TMC, Mamta Banerjee. She is the other example of Women power and an idol of many young women. After a successful carrier as Member of Parliament for more than 25 years, she became the Chief Minister of West Bengal on the 20th of May 2011. After her five year rule as a chief Minister of Bengal, the people of the state liked her rule and have voted her again as a chief Minster. The TMC party in West Bengal has won the elections with a large margin to make sure they run the government for the second time.

It is proved that women also can rule the country better than many sleeping and pornography viewing men in parliament. They can also give a much better growth to their state or country. So, this result should help Indian women to come out of their home and live their dream as an entrepreneur or an ambitious working woman or a Political leader like Jayalalitha or Mamtha Banerjee.
