India’s turn to Level the Series




The ongoing Gandhi-Mandela series between India and South Africa had a thrilling finish in the first T20 match. South Africa won the match with two balls spare. India was sent into bat by the South African Captain due to the dueue factor in the ground. India started to bat well with opener Rohit scoring a century and Virat missed a half century. The hosts registered a score of 199 giving the visitors a chance to chase. At one stage the Indian team was in good position of reaching a score of 215 and more. But, the South African bowlers came strong in the depth over’s. Chasing a target of 200 the South African openers gave a strong start that gave the team a better chance to win the match. It was man of the match JP Duminy who helped the team to win the match with two balls to spare. Now with two matches to go in the T20 format India have to win the second match to be played today to level the series. The team is confident of giving a good fight in the second T20 and will be leveling the series.
