Kevin Peterson continued his day with 326 not out and could
make only 29 more runs before the last wicket fell. It was a match were only
one scored the runs and others just supported the batsmen without any big score.
The second best score was Sangakkara with 36 runs and extra reaching 17 more
than many other batsmen. The innings ended at 557 runs losing all the wickets.
KP scored a mammoth 355 not out to take the team in a good position. BA Raine
was the pick of the bowler by picking four Surrey
wickets. Leicestershire started their second innings by losing the opener for
zero of the fifth ball of the first over. Then the second wicket partnership helped
the team to come back in the match without any collapse. They are 310/5 after
92 over before the close of day 3.
