Should Indian Culture be Blamed for Rape?

India one of the best democratic countries in the World is facing a problem of Rape. The issue is making the country to be showcased as one of the world places for Woman. It is concluded that the country is far a disturbing place for the tourists, especially women from different parts of the world. The controversial video “India’s Daughter” is facing a ban in India due to the powerful words against Women of India. There arises a question that should this video be banned and not shown to Indian public who is more matured than some political party members and other unworthy living rapists. The country is second in Population and is facing a remark of unsafe country of the World. Many News Channels worldwide may have made comedy of Indian men and the double standard mentality of the individuals.

I agree that we need to be ashamed about the incidence that has made headlines from last one month. As per the research about the country topping rape is not India and is placed in fifth place after United Kingdom. South Africa is topping the list for more rapes in a country and the second place to United States was rape happens every 10 minutes as per the research. This makes clear that the men don’t respect Woman even in developed countries like United States that has freedom for woman. So, this proves that it is not only culture that influences the man to rape a woman, it also engages with the mentality and the sexual desire that forces them to do the sin. So, please stop blaming the culture for the crime happened in the country. It may be easy to point out a reason for rape. It is difficult to find the solution for this kind of crime that does not have an end. In this case of rape, women face the consequence’s rather than men who do the mistake. Can this be a continuing fact around the world that Women are responsible for rape and rapists are left free for their wrong doings? The Arab countries have a strict law against these criminals, that is very much strong. They are hanged to death in public for any of the crimes they are involved (not only rape). This may not work out in other countries. Then what is the solution for this unbearable act?
