AMRITSARI MURG MAKHNI – TASTE INDIA

The dish which is prepared through Chicken in Punjabi style is AMRITSARI MURG MAKHNI. This is very much a loved food around India. The taste will make to a fan of the food and have it many times. Let us see how to prepare this. This is a dish which is mainly prepared in Amritsar lovely place of Punjab.
Ingredients:
Ginger Garlic Paste – 3 tsp
Chopped Onion – 1
Garam Masala powder – ½ cup
Vinegar – 2 tsp
Tomato Chopped – 2
Chopped Ginger- 1
Chopped Chilli – 2
Butter- 3 tsp
Coconut Milk -4 tsp
Chopped Coriander – 3 to 4
Salt to taste
Chicken – 250 grams
Method:
1.   Heat oil in a pan for 30 seconds and add chopped onion till the color changes to reddish in color. Then
     take chopped tomato and mix well till it is cooked.
2.  Add ginger to the pan and Saute all the ingredients for a minute. Apply Garam Masala to the mixture and pour two to three glasses of water to it.
3.   Now place the chicken in the pan and cook for 1 hour till it is cooked. Now add coconut milk in the heated pan.
4.    Add more water for making it cook more and have extra curry. Add Salt to taste.
5.    Let the mixture gets boiled for another 15 minutes after the chicken being cooked. A piece of Butter needs to be added to the pan.
6.     Garnished coriander is mixed to get a good smell and also good for digestion.
7.    Serve it with rice or chapatti that suits the most for the Recipe.
